Advantages: If you are new to Irish Folk music then this is the one for you!
Disadvantages: If you already have some of Clannad's other work you may already have most of this compilation.

And, yes, Maire's little sister Eithne, aka Enya, did get her start in the family band, although she was only briefly a member at the beginning of the 1980s, before setting off to become a super-duper New Age superstar in her own right. Most current Clannad fans probably like them for all the reasons that I no longer do: the slick, heavily layered, glossy production, and the muzak-y tilt of their later work, as well as the gooey spirituality. Maire Brennan also has a significant solo career, which increasingly has become a platform for her Christian beliefs. Advantages: Great to have all the best songs on one disc
Disadvantages: none I can think of

...This is Take That the ultimate Collection, Never Forget. There are 18 tracks on this CD which start with Never Forget followed by, Back for good, how deep is your love, pray, relight my fire, everything changes, Babe, sure, it only takes a minute, A million love songs, could it be magic, why can't I wake up with you, love aint here anymore, I found heaven, Promises, once you've tasted love, Pray which was recorded live in Berlin and ends with relight my fire which is the element remix. We are treated to a bonus track which was previously unreleased called Today I've lost you. The boys originally wrote this song as the follow-up to Back for Good in 1995 but it never got released. They finally recorded it in 2005 and this is the version we have on the CD. The CD comes in a cardboard sleve which gives it that little bit more extra... Read review
