Review of Move Along - All-American Rejects (The) by  such.an.irony

Advantages: Great album, original sound
Disadvantages: none

...with the drums and guitar on the chorus. Track 7: 11:11P.M Starts of with a guitar chord followed by plucking. Rhythm comes in and vocals and then the lead guitar does some fancy bending effects. Over all great song. Great chorus. Track 8: Dance inside Starts of with acoustic guitar strumming and a riff. Slow song and quiet. Keyboard or piano present again. The lack of guitar is made up by the fancy guitar in the chorus. I love this song too. Hell I love all the songs!!!!! Track 9:top of the world Starts with Spanish style classical guitar strumming then quickly changes to a rock song with a good rhythm and guitar. The Spanish guitar strumming is present again before the chorus but not as loud and it's accompanied this time. Has a guitar solo near the end. Track 10: Straight jacket feeling. Starts of with a guitar played in minor and then drums... Read review

Who lives in a house like this?
Review of Greatest Hits - Space by  thebluehippo

Advantages: Some good tracks
Disadvantages: Some great tracks missed off

...if you listen carefully you can hear that Latin clickerty click sound, with Spanish guitar. 'Me and You Vs the World' (3.36) opens up with a big synth/guitar style intro, it tells the tale of a Bonnie and Clyde style story with a Northern feel to it. The song goes through the story of this couples love, ending with them both dying. "And whether we were in heaven or hell/ I know it's better than separate cells." 'Diary of a Wimp' (2.46) one of the first releases of 'Love you more than football' poor sales meant Gut Records, decided to delay the albums release. This is not a bad song though, it basically a story of a guy who loves a girl, but she doesn't love him and loves someone else. 'Gravity' (4.43) one of the tracks off 'Love you more than football' this song is sang by Jamie who quite often in Space albums had a track or two, with him... Read review

An Excellent crossover Album
Review of Tissues And Issues - Charlotte Church by  salibat

Advantages: Excellent variety of songs and full of soul
Disadvantages: not for everyone.

...listeners will agree that Charlotte has a lot of bad things to say about men. As a warning to any guys who's read this far, the lat few songs are no different. Church's vocal superiority over the rest of the pop world is the key to "Casualty of Love" another understated start with just an acoustic guitar for accompaniment. The song soon wakes up to become what can only be described as a Spanish Spectacular. The Spanish style acoustic guitar takes centre stage complementing Church's vocals perfectly. While I doubt it has the pop appeal to be released as a single. This song is probably the best on the album. Another slow song, "Even God" improves on some of the other ballads. This is a very low key affair with piano being the main accompaniment. Another possible double A side here. With the album almost over the listener will feel... Read review

Review of Spanish Guitar - Braxton, Toni by  Blondeboms

Advantages: its a song
Disadvantages: none

...I recently got given Street Vibes 6. Toni Braxton’s “Spanish Guitar” was on it and I knew it had to be good if it was on this quality album. The song is a great combination of R&B, Soul and Latin. With Toni Braxton’s incredibly powerful, soulful voice, “Spanish Guitar” is a wicked song. It’s a love song but not slushy and repetitive. It has great lyrics and the Latino and R&B mix makes this tune a cut above the rest. It is certainly one of Braxton’s quality songs, and her incredible voice adds to the sheer quality of it. The sound of a Spanish guitar being played in the song is great as it contributes to the Latin effect. I love this mix of Latin and R&B. Definitely a song I recommend you listening to.... Anywhere But Home
Review of Anywhere But Home (Live In Paris/+DVD) - Evanescence by  shin4

Advantages: An excellent first DVD release by the band
Disadvantages: Some fans may prefer recorded versions of the songs than the live ones

...as an extension to the start of the bridge (which in the Fallen version is made up of Amy Lee's soft voice and piano). In my opinion, it is the best song because it is very dramatic and emotional. In this live version, the sound classical is more dominant followed by the guitars and the drums. The fourth song is "Everybody's Fool." The live version is in the style of a Spanish song with the clash of the strings and the plucking of the guitar. The guitar is less rocky than the Fallen but with a funky twist to them. The song is an act to get rid of and stop indulgences in fake celebrities and idolism. It is to make people such as Amy lee's own sister, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera (as references and inspiration behind the song) to appreciate who you really are. This song does include the voice of the choir, like the Fallen version. The fifth... Read review
