...If you are like me and not a huge fan of the red hot chilli peppers but you find ever time there songs are played on the radio you like them. then this is a must album. The album was realesed in 2003 if you hunt around the shops you can get this cd for under £10 bargin Some of my favorite tracks are Under the Bridge Give it away Californication Scar tissue Suck my kiss By the way Breaking the girl The first time i played the cd i thought it was ok but know after listening to it for a few weeks i love it so much so i have just brought another album of theres. The only bad thing is that "Cant stop" and "The Zephyr song" are not on this album strange as "Cant stop" was a big hit Anyway i think this is a good album which is easy to listen too... Read review

Advantages: All the hits, plus two new tracks

...As the Red Hot Chili Peppers enter their third decade in the business, this greatest hits compilation couldn't have been better timed. Currently riding the crest of the wave following the mighty success' of Californication and By The Way, this album takes in hits from their last four albums. With the majority of the tracks coming from their three biggest albums of their career (the two mentioned previously, and BloodSugarSexMagik), this is a sure fire hit. Plus melancholic, One Hot Minute hit 'My Friends', and Soul To Squeeze, which has never been on a Chili Pepper album before. In addition, the band has treated the listener to new tracks, Save the Population and Fortune Faded. Overall, this album is full of hits, hence the title Greatest Hits. Disadvantages: only the best sellers, not the favorites so all quite recent

...The Chili Peppers Greatest Hits is a great CD! A die hard fan I have all their albums, however it is a real pleasure to have some of their great hits on one album. Although I was not particularly impressed with either of the new songs included on this album, the rest are all very high quality. With the material coming from the album 'Blood Sugar Sex Magic' and more recent, the album encapsulates the Chili's more rocky sound, a move away from their earlier funk sound. A real treat on this album is the classic song 'Soul to Squeeze', which as part of the 'Coneheads' soundtrack has not been included on a Chili's album before. I personally feel it is one of their best! This album would be an excellent way of introducing a first time listener as it is packed with strong tracks.
