romantic comedy is a hysterical smash hit. Still suffering from a High School crush on Mary (Cameron Diaz) the nerdy angst-driven Ted (Ben Stiller) tracks her down thirteen years later with the help of a sleazy private investigator (Matt Dillon) who also falls for her. Unfortunately both men discover that virtually every man who sets his eyes on the dazzling Mary finds himself head over heels in love and determined to win her hand. The wacky Farrelly Brothers have pushed the envelope again creating another outrageous movie experience guaranteed to make you laugh and keep you coming back for more.

Ross, Dennis Hetzendorfer. The soundtrack for THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY bucks the '90s trend among romantic comedy soundtracks by not focusing on classic songs from the '60s or '80s. Instead, what you get is a set of songs from late '90s up-and-comers, all anchored by three whimsical little ditties from Jonathan Richman, who also composed the score. With tunes ranging from The Dandy Warhols' electronics-heavy "Every Day Should Be A Holiday" to The Push Stars' indie-rock "Everything Shines" and the Propellerheads' curio "History Repeating," which features Shirley Bassey (of Goldfinger fame) on vocals, there is something here to satisfy every taste. And nostalgia junkies need have no fear: Joe Jackson's "Is She Really Going Out With Him" and The Foundations' "Build Me Up Buttercup" will satiate the retro jones.

Soundtrack by Vangelis" looks like gold, with the words "Alexander" and "Vangelis"
being bigger than the rest.
The back of the CD has the tracklist on it, next to a picture of Alexander in battle on
his horse.
The booklet is basicly a long piece of paper folded four times. On the first page there
is a photgraph of Vangelis with the information that all the music has been composed,
arranged, produced and performed by him. In the lower corner of this pages we
get some more information on people who contributed to the songs because
some other instruments played by other musicians are featured in a few tracks.

Advantages: Some good love songs Disadvantages: Poor rap tracks
...I Have seen the majority of this film and was one of Jada Pinketts lesser known releases. Its not too bad but again i gambled by buying the soundtrack without hearing any of the tracks but felt that i could find a couple of gems. a couple i did find but overall below average
Tracks
Woo Woo (Freak Out) - MC Lyte & Nicci Gilbert. Its basically Le freak by chic but a touch slower and with a rap in it. Thats the best way i can describe it
Money - Charli Baltimore. The first single Charli Baltimore released and the production was top drawer on this which kind of overshadowed her rap performance. Samples For The Love of Money by the OJays and the big bassline makes this track a classic club anthem
Bouncin - Lost Boyz. Straight forward beats and rhymes make this an all round average song. poor chorus

Advantages: Great mix of music Disadvantages: Can't think of any at all
...1 - There is a great mix of music on this one disc, a bit of everything for everybody
2 - there is 2 amazing songs on this album by Letters to Cleo
3 - The songs fit perfectly well into the feel of the film
4 - Makes you wanna get up and dance/rock out
5 - Slow songs aswell as uptempo numbers
6 - Has a good 14 songs on it from the film
7 - Has Saturday Night by Ta-Gana on it, what more can i say
8 - Love the front cover of the album
9 - Can listen to it all the way through without skipping any tracks
10 - All in All a great buy and needs to be in everyone's CD collection!
Only downside is there is a few songs in the film that aren't on the CD but oh well i'm sure you'll get over that.
