Pass the Bomb!

Advantages: great game, really gets you thinking
Disadvantages: you can be made to look v.stupid!

I don't know about you lot, but it seems to me that every time we have family over for Christmas or New Year, after dinner we end up playing some sort of board game! This is ok to start with, but does tend to get rather dull after a while. On boxing day of the Christmas just gone, yes you've guessed it - we ended up playing a board game. A member of the family brought it round and it was called Pass the Bomb! Sounds ominous I know (don't worry its not a real bomb!). Well, it was great fun and very different to the usual type of games which go on for hours and people lose interest. The game starts by drawing a card from the pack which is shown to all players. Each card has letters on it and can be two or more letters. A dice is then rolled which tells all players whether the letters shown by the card must be at the start, middle or end ...

Review of Pass The Bomb

Defend Your Castle is cheap, simple, addictive fun!

Advantages: Costs just £3.50, Charming graphical style, Good sound effects, Brilliant in multiplayer.
Disadvantages: Graphics may not be to everyones taste, May be a bit too simple for some.

which goes across the sky has a badly drawn smiley face on it, the card-clouds move across being held by bits of string whilst the health bar is red and white check with ?helth? written next to it in children?s crayon. Aside from what?s already mentioned there is very little else graphically present, the menu screens are all charming and whilst I can understand some peoples qualms over the style, I personally think it is charming and I believe many others will too. 4/5 Sound There is no music in Defend your Castle, however there are sound effects. Usually strange screams when you pick up and throw enemies, or when you hold them in the air for periods of time. The sound of thuds and explosions sound bad but, like the graphics, so bad it is fun, this gives the game a catchy and individual feel. The sound effects don?t really feel ...
