The big red button phenomenon
Throughout your life, I am sure that you have had a moment when you know you should not do something, but you really want to. Like in the film's, when there is a big red button with 'don't push' written beside it. Try as you might, you cannot resist the urge to press it. Well, in my life this phenomenon has led me to grow my collection of films to include several movies from the 'video nasty' genre. Generally these films are terrible, and there should be no reason for you to want to watch them. However, there is something niggling me, right at the back of my otherwise empty head. Why was it banned? What is the reason why this film was initially not put up for public release?

Advantages: interesting, enjoyable, rewarding, fun Disadvantages: huge workload, irritating children
brilliantly, whereas in secondary schoolsthis tends to just be ignored. The main behavioural issues I came across in primary teaching were low level disruption such as giggling and talking out of turn. This can be irritating although isn't too hard to manage. Other behaviours include the arguing and bickering, which also can get very irritating. The main problem regarding behaviour is if you have a few children who have particular behavioural difficulties as it can be very draining dealing with it day in day out.
However, that's not to say that primary schoolsdon't present extreme behaviour. I was teaching my year 6 class when a deranged year 4 pupil came running into my classroom with a hacksaw that he had somehow got hold of.
