Advantages: A nice mix of hard and mellow dancehall tracks

...This album contains a list of tracks that will definitely get the party going. When you plug this in you'll be listening to hit after hit. Its got a nice mix that will quench the taste of any reggae & dancehall fan, whether it be hardcore dancehall or soft reggae. There are some very good guest appearances on there, like the legendary Wayne Marshall and the sexy Nina Sky. Its just one of those records where you press play and just let it go. There are no tracks you skip because they're all good songs. The only downside to the album is that not all of the songs are new. Its annoying to buy a record when you already have some of the songs on another record. They're good songs but they're not original to the album. Other than that is a great record.... Read review

...If you've seen the movie, and love the music in it, pick up this single disc reissue of the original classic 2-LP album. I have the original record album and played it quite frequently. It's good to hnag on to, but in the past year I bought this single disc and don't have to worry about this getting worn out. All the original songs from the film are here. The songs are done in the style a typical '50s rock'n'roll song or ballad. The title track by Frankie Valli went to #1. ...emulated since. If you think of Woodstock but more choral that gives you an idea of the music style. Now this Deluxe Edition comes with two two CDs the first one is the original Broadway cast recording from 1968. Now this is great because it has has some really good singing on it, and Claude and Berger are played by the two writers Rado and Ragni. Now, on the second disc is the original Off-Broadway cast from 1967. Now some of the singing and the quality of recording isn't quite as good, but there's an amazing energy on that recording. The original off broadway show was put on in a Night Club in New York and the cast actually comprised of "Hippys" rather than Actors. Thats what gives it the lovely unfinished but real feal too it.
