liberty x have been the band who have started and enspired future generations of the entire television put together pop group. surprisingly, they were the losers over heresay who have split up and disappeared into oblivion. this first album backed by richard branson of virgin took them to the top and although we have not heard from them in a while, their charm is in unpredictability so we may still hear something from them soon. the lineup is nice with two boys and three girls, this gives an even sound and unlike some groups, liberty x are fair with delegating lines.

my track by track breakdown is as follows:

1. thinking it over. not my best song but a nice attempt at a new sound, keyboard strong. they risked being a flop with this one but nevertheless not a song to feel sick of. 7/10

2. just a little. cool, this really stands out, little ones love to do the dance with the stick and older ones like the raunchy content. a winner as a wide audience appeal. a song like this brings appreciation in image for liberty x's first releases. 10/10

3. doin' it. one of the early singles, original in content, style and not your average pop song. this song is a good background song for a candlelit dinner. again the sounds add brilliant and relevant effect. 9/10

4. wanting me tonight. a song about being loved. one word, ok - i am neither positive or negative on this track. 5/10

5. got to have your love. as catchy as just a little, this song has a good use of deep drums and vocals. strong and to the point. 8/10

6. no clouds. a song about moving on. i like the way it compares feeling down to bad weather and feeling better with sunshine. it gives the importance of sticking with the things that make you happy rather than being bogged down by problematic, past instances. lyrics are the opposite to yesterday by the beatles. 9/10.

7. everyday. the yearning of love, you want the person by you all day and night and start to 'feel' them everywhere. I think Liberty X have used long sounds on the main words to install the message. 7/10

8. Saturday. A celebration of the weekend!!! This song is great for the 9-5 weekday people in education or employment as it gives them hope for fun at the end of their hard work. 7/10

9. Holding On For You. 10/10!! I think this song is the best on the album, it has a slow melody and is perfect for listening to when being apart from a loved one and staying commited - it may bring tears to your eyes with the emotion.

10. I Got What You Want. Nice for those who like to go out and grab the object of desire. This song holds a quirky, come and get me message. 8/10

11. Feel The Rush. I like the part at the beginning where Liberty X say 'are we gonna go in or what'. Funny as there is always a tenseness as you wait in a queue to get into a club and Liberty X act as we wiuld not as celebs here. 7/10

12. Right Here, Right Now. About acting on the moment. I like this song as it has the same title as fatboy slim's song but is totally different. 6/10

13. Dream About It. About wishing and wanting what you want to come true. No blues at all here. 7/10

14. Never Give Up. A short piece summarising the road to fame for these 5 singers. If Liberty X were to give up after losing then they would never have got where they are now. Well done for including this motivating number! 8/10
