This Is...Brenda/Emotions [Remastered] - Brenda Lee

Advantages: Great tracks, great lyrics, original, its Bob Marley.
Disadvantages: They only include one extra track. No need for remastering. Its too short.

...This is Bob Marley's third album on the Tuff Gong label and has been digitally remastered and made up to ten tracks with the addition of ‘Am-A-Do’, a track that fans might recognise from the ‘Talkin’ Blues’ album. Natty Dread is the first album to be released after the original the ‘Wailers’ split, leaving Bob to form partnerships with his three backing singers the I-Threes. Released in 1974 after former band members Bunny Wailer and Peter Tosh had left, the album was supported by the Natty Dread Tour of USA, Canada and England, including dates at the famous Roxy Theatre in LA and the Lyceum in London. Natty Dread is a change from the previous ‘Burnin’ and ‘Catch A Fire’ albums with a few lighter tracks to make you smile. How Do I? 12. In The Morning I have always been a big fan of Blue and Lee has always been my fave. He is just so extremely talented with a voice of an angel. This album sees him change from boyband member to solo star and i would have to say that it was definately a good decision to try his hand at his own work. This album, in my opinion, hears musical influences from such artists as Marvin Gaye and Luther Vandross among others. Debut single, Army of Lovers, starts the album off and as the album plays on, it just gets better and better. Second Single, Turn Your Car Around, is an acoustic style track which i love to listen... ...Cold and Composed' is probably one of their most underrated songs and only after consistent listening and seeing it live [See: Ben Folds Five's Sessions at West 54th St DVD] will many understand how well arranged and written it is along with, quite frankly, just about every track on 'Whatever and Ever Amen'. What is special about this Remastered Edition of 'Whatever and Ever Amen' is not just the fantastic remastering of the tracks (audiophiles will notice the difference easily) but the addition of several rare recordings. Standouts from this are the bouncy cover of 'Video Killed The Radio Star', the faux-showtune 'Theme from Dr Pyser' and the absolute standout cover of Flaming Lips song 'She Don't Use Jelly'.
