This book was given to us free by our health visitor! As part of the bookstart which is a children's charity aimed at introducing books into children's lives from a youg age this book was given to us in a pack for free. For more information about bookstart visit www.bookstart.co.uk The book This book is quite large- it's about the size of two dvd boxes side by side. It is a board book so it is baby friendly. Being a board book means that babies don't have to worry about getting paper cuts and scrunching up the pages as they grab at them. Board books are great as they are so baby friendly, although they don't manage to avoid getting the teeth marks around the edges where your baby likes to chew! The front page is bright yellow with a big picture of a child on the front pointing to his nose and the title 'Is This My Nose ...

Fair Is Fair My Lady

My Fair Lady, a mammoth musical extravaganza, was produced by Warner Brothers in 1964, in 70mm wide screen. The story was adapted from Pygmalion (1912), a play by George Bernard Shaw. Director George Cukor has presented a sumptuous, dazzling and delightful musical romantic comedy with enchanting and cheerful songs. It had won eight Academy Awards. This classic was restored in 1994, to its original charms and the sound track changed to digital. The first frame of the film is of the Convent Garden Opera House, London with beautiful and colourful flowers around, and the high-class operagoers are leaving the theatre, while it starts to rain. Advantages: A great Read, an eye opener

Browsing through Ciao, as you do, I came across the member Floon. His About Me section stated that his wife had just had a book published. Being the nosy bird I am, I messaged him asking about it. He kindly messaged back telling me that the book was a frank account of his wife?s miserable childhood at the hands of her emotionally abusive adoptive mother. I asked for more details and Les let me know the name of the book, so I pre ordered it on Amazon for £4.95. Les had told me it would be cheaper directly from the publisher but I was too chicken to ring them up, I?m a bit funny about phoning people.
