Advantages: Has an up-beat and rocky feel.The album has a lot of energy with Rocky theme tune like intros.
Disadvantages: This album put me off the band.Dissapointing,noisy and messily composed.

This album really put me off the band and in my opinion their earlier album News and Tributes was much better. I found it dissapointing and really over the top on unbalanced energy. Does it rock? Yeah I guess it does with some real punchy powerful songs that are a bit Maximo Park in feel. But the overal feel of this album is dissapointing as they seem to have tried to squish as much as possible into each song. The harmonies change suddenly, spiky guitar riffs and lots of up-tempo-pop shifts in the music. This makes it feel a bit too noisy or messy and they have lost much of the initial grace or simplicity that made them stand out from the rest. Lyrically and vocally they dont really stand out either and all I can say is thank God ths isn't their first album as hopefully their existing fans will remain loyal and hope for a much ...

This is cult fiction...

Advantages: You'll already know most of the tunes
Disadvantages: It's got that blasted Guinness advert on it.

's still no better. I just cannot stand this piece of music - I just have to skip over it every time it comes on. The minor blemishes are just that, minor. The "Joe 90" tune has never been one that I have really apperciated, and likewise "You never can tell". But then that's just me. You might love them. As a compilation album full of cultish tunes theres a fair chance that you'll know at least a few of the tunes already, which isn't a bad thing. It means that you already feel comfortable with the album when you first put it in, rather than having to go through that uncomfortable phase of having to get to know this. On the whole this is a good buy, not essential by any means, but a good listen all the same. ...

We Invented The Remix - Various Artists

Advantages: Some good remixes and the price
Disadvantages: Not many, some fillers but i suppose you get that with every album

This cd is an absolue bargain. I would highly recommend purchasing this as Bad Boy and Puff Daddy are well known for producing good remixes and the series of albums was a very good idea, another money spinning venture but one for the fans who had remixes on b sides of cd singles and recorded off the radio! Special Delivery - G Dep, Ghostface Killah, Keith Murray & Craig Mack. Quite a repetitive tune but a cult favourite. More likely to hear it in the clubs I Need A Girl Part 2 - Ginuwine, Mario Winans, P Diddy & Loon. Video and single released off the back of the successful part 1. Some say they prefer this version, i actual do and its one of the best tracks on the album Bad Boy For Life - P Diddy, Busta Rhymes & MOP. A shouty version of the original. Not bad but too much going on lyrically for me, my ears couldnt take it I Need ...
