Advantages: The original tracks are great, Fergie's performance is good
Disadvantages: Tracks with Akon, Kanye West and Will.I.Am are a letdown

Repacked for the third time, "Thriller" by Michael Jackson is quite simply one of the best pop albums of all time. It is an album that inspired a generation of recording artists and its songs all stand up to the level of music being produced today. This 25th Anniversary edition has been received by some as something of a let down. It's fair to say the remix of Bliie Jean by Kanye West and the version of Wanna Be Startin' Something with Akon have ...
...a good account of herself in "Beat It 2008" and how can you give this album anything other than 5 stars when it has the original "Thriller" album in its entirety, WITH bonus tracks. Also included is a DVD which features the Motown 25th Anniversary TV special 'Billie Jean' performance and the classic video for Thriller, as well as the videos for Billie Jean and Beat It. If you already own the album, you won't find much new here. But if you don't ... Read review
