...bought Cece Winans Live in Throne room DVD and enjoyed it thoroughly. It was a wonderful experience watching and being part of the concert. The stage was beautiful, with soft flowing curtains, super lighting, great direction, a mix of wide shots, side shots, walk-around shots, over audience shots, and many stunning close-up shots. Very well done. It also offers entertaining and insightful behind the scenes bonus clips.

I bought Cece Winans Live in Throne room DVD and enjoyed it thoroughly. It was a wonderful experience watching and being part of the concert. The stage was beautiful, with soft flowing curtains, super lighting, great direction, a mix of wide shots, side shots, walk-around shots, over audience shots, and many stunning close-up shots. Very well done. It also offers entertaining and insightful behind the scenes bonus clips.

The dancers led by her son Alvin Love, were on top form, very energetic showing what exuberant praise in dance is all about. Cece was at her best. She looked absolutely beautiful in her three outfits, she started with a brownish trouser suit, then a creamish skirt suit that made her look angelic and then a white trouser suit. Her hair and makeup were flawless. She did mention in one of her interviews that the secret behind her make up not running off her face was waterproof makeup. (I am yet to discover waterproof foundation and powder though I really need it particularly when singing in summer.) She was 'glowing' beautifully.

CeCe, a six time Grammy winner, and the recipient of a staggering amount of Gospel Music Association and Stellar Awards, sang in a seeming effortless manner. Her backing vocalists did not disappoint at all. This is a serious 'wish you were here' case.

Her previous works started with her brother Bebe winans, she later branched out with her first solo offering 'Alone in His presence, then on to 'everlasting love', His gift, Alabastar box,Throne room and Purified.

She sang all her songs from All right Allright Allright, to King of kings and Lord of Lords, etc. If you want worship, you've got it, if you want contemporary praise worship you've got it. CeCe was backed by a talented 6 piece jazz/rock band. The music is gospel/jazz/rock style with some inspiring slower pieces but many up tempo pieces as well that gets Cece and the audience dancing and jumping and whatever, all in praise to God. Very infectious.

Look out for her dance at the end of the dvd, her son also did a dance with her it was fun watching her.

It is difficult to pick the best song but I do dance a lot to 'King of kings' particularly the He's a wonder bit. As well as ' Anybody wanna pray with me', 'we thirst for you' etc. '. This might not necessarily be for a secular listener knowing that its a christian album but it will reel you in , give it a chance..

Her musical style could be likened to that of Nicole C Mullens, Yolanda Adams, Whitney Houston, and Anointed
