Doing a review on bing.com I thought it prudent in the beginning to have a comparative write-up of existing search engines but the practicality of my purpose is hardly feasible. Let?s just have check of the best available search engines. This is what you get with a google search: 1) Ask. 2) Yahoo. 3) Alta vista. 4) MSN. 5) Bing. 6) Cuil. 7) Lycos. 8) Hotbot. 9) Crawller. 10) Dogplie. 11) 20 search. 12) All the web. 13) AOL seach. 14) Ebay. 15) Exite. 16) Gigablast. 17) Iwon. 18) Google. 19) Joeant. 20) Mamma. 21) Netscape. 22) Open directory. 23) Webcraler. 24) Wikipedia Of course not in that order, you just can not make a comparative study, they all have their specialties. Have You Ever Binged Yourself?

Advantages: It's the same as most search engines with little extra bits
Disadvantages: Google has become this icon in people's lives and Bing never really gets there.

As a self confessed, EX IT nerd, I have always been pushed to use different search engines within my work. At college we were pushed to use many different search engines, and now even after I have left college, I make a point of trying different search engines every now and then just to ?give them a go?. I?m afraid however that Bing.com was not released until after I had left college and it wasn?t until I started doing a lot of research at the beginning of August on my holiday that I really began to spend any time on Bing and really use it. Microsoft's slogan is "BING AND DECIDE". I did, why don't you ?

Advantages: An innovative and beautifully designed search engine that returns the results you really want.
Disadvantages: Can see confusing at first and it's very easy to get distracted by all the extras !!!

It is linked with my Xbox 360 id, my MSN account and pretty much everywhere I appear online my presence is somehow linked with Microsoft ?
