Advantages: A hotel brimming with personality and themed to perfection Disadvantages: Expensive. But you get what you pay for.
of staff in the hotel seems to have been touched by that famous Disney attitude. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and I cannot give them enough praise. The hotel oozes that unique mix of fun, imagination and sophistication that can only be found in a Disney hotel.
THE ROOMS
The facts will tell you that Wilderness Lodge has 728 rooms in total, including a separate building built in 2002 called the Wilderness Lodge Villas, offering studios and one and two bedroom apartments as part of the Disney Vacation Club Scheme. There is a good variety of different types of rooms depending on your individual needs (e.g. travelling as a couple or with a family), all decorated in the same charming Pacific Northwest theme as the rest of the hotel. A slow fuzz guitar line starts "Falling Down Around Me" and is built up with keyboards, drums and bass. Quite a slow plodding song until the band reach the middle eight, when a horn section adds real fire to the proceedings! Towards the end Cope starts his "Ba da da " trade mark singalong bit.
An acapella "ba da da ba da da da" starts off "The Culture Bunker" until a guitar thrusts its way into the song. With horn section stabs punctuating the lines as the tune unfolds.Cope name checks his old band, "Waiting for the Crucial Three, wondering what went wrong". A longing for the old days? Who knows? A fine song ...
Advantages: Some funny scenes, Ryan Reynolds plays his part well. Disadvantages: Not really bringing anything new to the genre.

Van Wilder (Ryan Reynolds) has been at Coolidge College for seven years and has shown no intention of graduating. As Van is the big man on campus, the college paper journalist, Gwen (Tara Reid) is asked to write a paper on him and his exploits. This is such a success that she writes a follow up paper.
