The bouncing souls are a great punk band from new jersey America, they are and have been one of my favourite bands for quite a few year now and probably for a long time to come too. They were formed in 1987, and are well known in the punk scene for their light-hearted fast punk rock songs.
This tie one on album was recorded live in 1998 however the quality is great and much better than the more recent live album which was actually recorded in 005. The first tracks off this album were recorded live at the Continental in New York City. The final 9th track of this album entitled “kid” was recorded in the studio and later released on their next studio album following its success on this live EP.

Some of their all time greatest songs are on this album. There’s “say anything” which is one of their most well known songs and is a fast and up beat tune. There’s also “Kate is great” my second favourite song by the bouncing souls, I just love the lyrics and rhythm of this song. There are a few songs on here that arnt that good, however it is one of their earlier albums, and their first live album so they didn’t have a lot of songs to choose from to perform.
If you are a fan of the bouncing souls, then this is a great album, you get to hear the bands live performance and its nearly just as good as the studio tracks, also it’s a piece of music from 1998, when the bouncing souls were younger and its interesting to hear. And if your not a fan, then I advise you to go buy it, there a great band, if you like anything up beat and fast, with good lyrics then you’ll love these too.
