STORYLINE
The Suffering 2: TiesThatBind is the sequel to The Suffering (surprise!) in which you play Torque, an oddly named prison inmate accused of the brutal murder of his ex-wife and kids. Throughout the original game, Torque had to use an array of weapons to fight his way through a host of horrific creatures in order to make good his escape from Abbott Penitentiary on Carnate Island.
In Suffering 2: TiesThatBind, we pick up the story shortly after Torque's escape and arrival in his home town of Baltimore. Sadly for Torque, he finds his every step is still blighted by the same types of monsters that plagued Carnate Island, along with a sinister organisation known ...
Advantages: It's short... Disadvantages: ...But I still wasted over an hour reading it.
in order to not make it novel length. At times it felt more like I was reading a plan for a novel and not the actual book. It starts off quite promisingly with Garth and Shannon meeting, there is a friction between them that promises an interesting romance but then Krentz skips straight to the part where they've got over any initial conflict without really exploring that in the text, it's just assumed that they got passed it and now get on quite well.

Garth acts like it's an every ...
Advantages: An incite into an unknown world. Disadvantages: Sometimes a little uncomfortable to read.
particularly cruel, and also illustrates the fact that , at the time, females were viewed as second rate citizens, is the tutelage she receives from her grandmother when she is binding her feet.
Whilst she explains why she must have her feet bound (for better marriage prospects), she also states that she must never reveal how much her feet binding hurts, she must tell her future husband how she never ?cried out loud?, truly horrific to read.
The story then jumps forward to Chao-tsings marriage to a wealthy merchant, this is where May?s story really begins.
After some truly horrific treatment at the hands of her new husband and his three wives, she flee?s to Shanghi , she starts a new life, learning new languages and starting a new?? profession, I won?t elaborate any more than that as this part of the story is the turning point, and I don?t want ...
