Advantages: Easy to read, eye-opener Disadvantages: Unsatisfactory ending for the discerning reader
If you are reading this expecting to be drawn into an underwater world where man and fish fight it out for supremacy then please read the title again.
The Shack is a New York bestseller that should never have been. Rejected by every publisher it was sent to, William Young turned to family, friends, the internet and word of mouth to get his book read and read and read again. "Speaking to The Times, he said: ?I tried at least a couple of dozen, all major publishers. Very few even responded.? Of those that wrote back, one stock excuse was: no niche for it. Others described it as ?too edgy? or having ?too much Jesus?. (timesonline July 16 2008)
I was introduced to the book after a friend raved about it during one coffee morning, claiming it brought GOD back into her life. Always open to the recommendations of others, I gladly picked it ...
Advantages: Displays the intimate relationship believers have with God Disadvantages: Poor writing style, theologically questionable
Let's be honest - Christian fiction hardly screams "good read." Typically, the literary style is hardly artful and in theology is almost always wrong. I have to say that The Shack is really no different. However, I do believe that it has some redeeming qualities, and as such I would recommend it.

Advantages: free entry Disadvantages: toilets are far away from the dancefloor
The Shack is a relatively new club that has recently opened in Pitt street in Glasgow, right next door to trash. It was previously known as the temple.
It is an old building but the club inside is bright and modern.
You will find, that whatever time of the night you go at, you will end up queued up outside in the freezing cold, i dont no if this is just to make it look busy.
Inside there are several rooms that would suit anyone, whatever mood they were in. There is a games room with pool etc, and The main club dancefloor has a good seating area, with carpets and comfy sofas spread over two levels with a balcony.
There is also a quiet seating area, with its own bar. Only a small room.
There are 3 bars in total, all selling reasdonably priced alcohol. A vodka mix costs about £1.70 on a saturday.
There is also free entry ...
