To Ella With Love - Ann Hampton Callaway

Happy to visit Hampton Court

Advantages: Lovely day out, lots to see and do
Disadvantages: Too much to take in on one visit

I've wanted to visit Hampton Court for absolutely ages, it's been on my "list of things to do" for about five years now. Finally, after much delay, I achieved my goal on the May bank holiday. History Hampton Court is probably best known as Henry VIII's royal palace, but in fact it was built by Cardinal Wolsey, Henry's right hand man. Since Henry seized it from Wolsey (sorry, was given it by Wolsey...) it has been extensively modified by various monarchs from Elizabeth I through William and Mary and Queen Anne. Various grace and favour apartments were established in the buildings in the early 1800s, which led to further changes in layout and use, and although these apartments are no longer allocated to people there are still a few people living there. ****Ella Enchanted**** I was first drawn to this film because i love anything with Anna Hathaway in it and i must say i was not disappointed.The film is about a girl called Ella (anna ) who is given the gift of obedience by her godmother.She isn't allowed to tell anyone about this gift and it isn't a problem until her mother dies and her father remarries. Her Step sisters find out about this and use it to their advantage,getting Ella do to stuff for them, including stealing.Fed up with the gift Ella goes in search of the fairy godmother so the spell can be lifted and on the way she meets the prince and falls in love.As you can guess things don't go according to plan.. **Ella** Anne Hathaway plays the part well.This was probably one of the last films she did before she "grew Up" and changed her image. *Dame Olga* Not a main ...

The Boy Who Loved Anne Frank

Advantages: Excellent read, gripping story.
Disadvantages: None that I found

he confessed to Anne that when they got out he would reinvent himself. The story "The Boy who loved Anne Frank" is a fictional story, the author was inspired to write in after visiting Anne Franks house in Amsterdam where a tour guide told her that they had no account of what happened to Peter Van Daan, this led her to think what might have happened to Peter after the camps were liberated. And so the story was born. Some of the events in the book are based on true events, the play that was produced following the publication of the diary and the legal disputes that followed. The story of Peter however is completely fictional. However the book is so well written you could easily believe that it was a true story of what happened to Peter. The author has done a lot of research which adds to the plot and the general presentation ...
