A Child's Courage to Survive

Advantages: creates awareness of child abuse,it is very honest and doesn't hold anything back
Disadvantages: Some people might find scenes in the book disturbing

you couldn't imagine any child going through.When I first got the book I had no idea that it was a true story...It just didn't seem real.But then I guess that is how a lot of child abuse cases get overlooked.I am only 18 and I don't have any children but I still cannot imagine any mother doing that to their child.How many mothers reading this could starve,beat,force their child to swallow ammonia,or even stab their own child?My guess is that none of you could. This book really brings an awareness of what level child abuse can reach.Dave was lucky to get rescued from his life but there are many children that die due to this kind of lifestyle.I think the main aim of the book is to help us see how bad things can really get,and to look into things a lot more before we assume something is normal. An amazing car seat

Advantages: safe, cosy

more space so your baby can fit in the seat for longer. They are a nice shape, I've seen some car seats which leave your baby hunched up but this one doesn't do that. Are they practical? Definitely. You can easily get the car seat in and out of the car so you don't even have to wake your baby up. They have a handle which pulls forward and a sunhood which you can pull over and attach to the handle. This is something which has come in really useful we have found. The straps are easy to adjust an tighten and there is a very handy little 'cupboard' in the seat too which makes great use of the extra space so we often keep a spare emergency nappy or two in there. They also easily clip onto sets of wheens such as the maxi cosi and the quinny. Can you clean them? They are quite awkward to clean as they are fabric so it can be difficult to ...
