Rise of Nations is a real time strategy combined with a turn based tactical game. It was released in May 2003.

In RoN, the player is challenged to take over the world following individual battles. In addition to the campaign, gamers can also choose to play maps against AI or online opponents.
In this game, the player have to gather resources (food, wood, coin and metal; oil later in the game) and amass knowledge in order to build / upgrade units and advance through the ages, while fighting against the enemy. There are 8 ages of the game - Ancient, Classical, Medieval, Gunpowder, Enlightenment, Industrial, Modern and Information age. With each age come better units and more powerful vehicles / ships.

Without trying to give to much away the main antagonist of the game is a myserious man named Carlito, who is angered somewhat and is a recurring character Frank faces throughout the game

Yet another film that I have the privilege or reviewing not too long after it?s cinema release date and also keeping in tune with many of my other film viewings, it was watched with me suffering from the usual hangover, but in the comfort of my friends living room (Yay for downloading..) ?Underworld ? Rise of the Lycans? was released on January 23rd, and is not currently in the cinemas anymore (well, not at my local ones!), it is however due on DVD on 18th May.
For those who don?t know, it is the third film in the Underworld series, which is a Vampire vs Lycans, which are a form of werewolf, the previous two films were ?Underworld? (2003) and ?Underworld Evolution? (2006). ?Rise of the Lycans? is the prequel to the two films. I can?t actually remember if I have seen either of the previous films, and I hadn?t heard of this film being ...
