With tracks such as the massive 'Control Myself feat. J-Lo' you can entertain at a party or some lady friends to discuss pleasantries! Otherwise LL Cool J represents on tracks such as 'What you Want feat. Freeway,' which has to be my personal favourite, it's excellent, and 'Ooh Wee feat. Ginuwine' slowing it down to show off LL Cool J's romantic side like he did with classics like 'I need Love' and 'Love you Better,' yes some of the tracks on this album compete with some of the better stuff he has done! Finally I just want to mention 'Down the Aisle feat. 112' which is a great slow song and shows off the amazing voices of 112, which is a feature in this album...the great collaborations! LL Cool J still has the pulling power to get the likes of Ginuwine, 112, Freeway, Jermaine Dupri, Juelz Santana and of course J-Lo!
So to summarise this album...it has a lot to offer even if you're not the biggest LL Cool J fan and I would most definately recommend it! Out of all the albums I've bought this year, this is up there! So buy and enjoy it!
Advantages: good songs Disadvantages: some weak beats

L.LCoolJ "Ladies Love Cool James" was born James ToddSmith III. CoolJ is a rap artist who started his career back in the early days of Hip-Hop which is where my interest lies. This was the second album release by L.L after Radio released in 1985. Being released 2 years later meant that adequate time would be given in making a great album and still in the right time zone to ensure an old Skool style.

Advantages: a good headliner song and a few good picks Disadvantages: too much loving himself and little creativty
Released in 2004 LLCoolJ (James ToddSmith) returns from Hollywood blockbusters to attempt to shine on the music scene. Having been around for about 20 years he certainly has the experience but over all I was slightly disappointed in this album. The few notable songs on the album are Headsprung and the pick of the many slow songs which fill up the album.
Headsrpung ? the first single released and the best song on the album. It did the round and everyone knows it from either clubs or big radio plays. Has the best beat, good lyrics and will have the longest longevity and remembrance of all the songs on the album.
Rub my back ? repetitive beat doesn't do much, chorus doesn't catch you as much as it probably should and in fact gets quite annoying by the end, some better parts though
Im about to get her ? feat R.Kelly ? has a nice ...
Advantages: great album Disadvantages: some bad tracks
LLCoolJ's (AKA ToddSmith) sixth album "Mr. Smith" (1995) is a fifteen-track release from the young singer from Queens.
Trackmasters helped create this album who helped executive produce this release lace "The Intro" (Skit) with a tight instrumental and LL starts his album off laughing.
The next track "Make It Hot" is tight; LL samples the Debarges "I Like It", and rhymes with his trademark flow in what turns out to be a smooth joint. LL shines when paying tribute to "Hip Hop", celebrating and taking his listeners down memory lane. "Hey Lover" is off the hook, one of LL's most memorable love joints, Boyz II Men vocals are used, and LL drops an outstanding track while talking about having love for an attached woman. LL then delivers a getting laid track with "Doin It" feat. Leshaun. The tone of the album starts to change after ...
