An album of such stunning diversity needs in-depth assessment so here's the track by track breakdown. 1. LONDON CALLING One of The Clash's definitive songs, almost made it into the top 10 (and all without the help of a Levis ad). The album kicks off in style with a kick ass, high tempo rocker in which Joe throws in some apocacalyptic imagery: "The ice age is coming, the sun is zooming in Engines stop running, the wheat is growing thin A nuclear error...."
