This is the soundtrack that accompanies the film Top Gun, the ultimate in air combat movies. With some great songs in the movie included on this soundtrack.

These tracks are:
1. Danger zone - Kenny Loggins
The first song on the soundtrack, very nice song, great lyrics and nice to sing along too, also very good to dance to at an 80's party. A great number to start of a great soundtrack with.

2. Heaven in your eyes - Loverboy
A nice slow love song. A nice light texture with some great lyrics. Easy listening to make you feel good.

3. Mighty wings - Cheap Trick
This is a upbeat song, one of my favourite songs on the soundtrack, again, easy to sing along to, some great harmonies and great lyrics.

4. Take my breath away - Berlin
This is the love theme from the the Movie for the two main characters Maverick (Tom Cruise) and the civilian instructor (Kelly McGillis) who teacher Maverick some things you can't learn in a classroom.

5. Top Gun anthem - Harold Faltermeyer and Steve Stevens
This is one of the best Anthems to a film ever written, this song is featured right at the begining of the movie when the aircrafts are being prepared for launch on the aircraft carrier, starts slowly and quietly and gradually gets louder, this truly is a great anthem with some amazing guitar tunes.

6. Hot summer nights - Miami Sound Machine
A great upbeat feel good song. Designed for some great dancing, and lyrics that tell a great story, with more synthed sounds and again a good trumpet player.

7. Playing with the boys - Kenny Loggins
Another fabulous song from Kenny Loggins, there is some great use of synthersisers, and some nice lyrics, and again, its good to dance too.

8. Lead on me - Teena Marie
I love the trumpet player in this, the sound is so rich, and Teena Marie's voice is amazing. A good range of synthed sounds and natural guitars and the trumpets making some great harmonies, with some nice backing singers.

9. Destination Unknown - Marietta
Another light textured slow easy listening song, with an amazing voice. Lovely lyrics and lovely to listen to.

10. Through the fire - Larry Greene
This song will have you screaming "Through The Fire" along with the music and if your in a group you will all start singing the different guitar parts and pretending you are playing the drums. Fantastic song with some great guitar playing and some great rythyms.
