having heard no doubt on the radio when i lived in california, i thought that it was a good song. i can't remember what the tune was, what i can remember however is that my brother went out and bought the album and quickly got bored of it. so i bought it off of him for a small amount of money. that was by no means a mistake. the opening track, "spiderwebs" is a fairly fast paced, good song that sounds exactly like they do at their best. the album then goes through song upon song of great lyrics and music, making it a generally good album. it includes the his single "don't speak" which is probably the song that most people know them by since that was like their big breakthrough almost.

i would say that this is probably my favourite no doubt album due to the fact that it has had time to grow on me as well as being fast paced. the lyrics are deffinetly of high quality and are often about the world that is orange county (in california) which is probably why i like them. the lyrics seem to be mocking the society as well as saying how good it is and the background music (Glen's voice is very powerful) deffinetly works well with it.

the inlay has pictures of the band around places in orange county and also has the lyrics printed. make no mistake, this is a good album.
