Quite simply the man is the foundation of all that came after. Like Bo Diddley in the fifties, Sky quite simply changed the music, and this is a great example of an artist who is as vibrant and creative as ever. Rock on indeed !

Garage rock pioneer Sky Saxon originally made his name as the front man and chief songwriter of The Seeds. The scourge of the Los Angeles rock scene, the Seeds were infamous for their repetitive, distortion-heavy sound and for Saxon's snotty adolescent whine. Saxon's 2005 release, TRANSPARENCY, is steeped in the classic Seeds sound, boasting a set of primitive rockers featuring plenty of fuzztone guitar, one finger organ-riffs, and compelling psycho-babble from the inimitable Saxon.
