A week in Kardamena, Kos, Greece was a nice "easy" first holiday experience. I went with my ex-boyfriend and paid £229 for the week; self catering. We went to do a bit of chilling out and sight seeing - although all HE wanted to do is drink really! MyTravel provided a day trip into the Gold Centres of nearby Bodrum, Turkey, that was really good value for money and so was the availability of the Reps, who proved to be professional, courteous and understanding of our needs. We also visited Kos Town one night and partied until 2am; which was perfect - compared to the crazy antics of other holiday Reps.' 5am parties! At the airport the Reps. were ready and waiting patiently our arrival; and ensured we left their care with a smile on our faces; upon departure a week later. MyTravel Airways (MYT) is the new name for Airtours, a Manchester-based company that has provided holidays for many years. However now they're going bankrupt as they've found that by expanding, they've got too big for their own good by taking over any company they see fit.
MYT was our choice to fly to Orlando, Florida last year. It was a lovely July day when we arrived at Manchester Airport, fresh from a stay at the Manchester Holiday Inn. We had chosen the "Gold service", called Premair Gold. We had flown before to Orlando with the company, and economy is too much for a long flight.

My in-laws live abroad (I know - lucky me) so I'm a seasoned Internet trawler when it comes to finding the best value flights. Lordy Lord did I get it wrong this year!!
I spend considerable time looking for the best bargain and use several websites as standard which I compare daily, as well as looking for new sites to try. I thought I'd got a good deal this year, opting for MyTravel flights via the cheapestflights website. It started off badly when it transpired that MyTravel had loaded it's arrival times incorrectly onto all the travel agents' websites. Your confirmation read one date and not until the tickets arrvied did it become clear that you were actually coming home the following day.
The flaw of waiting till the last minute to book is that there's little you can do to get out of the arrangement as you don't have time. I ...
