***THE PLOT***
Oh, come on now. You saw the show, right? NO? Fair do?s ? me either. Dave Starsky and?um?Mr Hutch are cops. This is their only similarity. One is a by-the-book kinda guy; the other is a buy-a porno-and-a-coffee-then-hide-in-the-toilet kinda guy ? in other words, not exactly great in the field of detectiveness. After the viewers are introduced to their ineptness, the rozzers are introduced to each other. Mismatched partners. ?What a great idea for a movie,? shouts the cynical gland in your brain. Well hang on, little Jimmy. This show was influential at the time?

The Seventies. An amusing chase in the opening sequence sees Ben Stiller chasing a thief with a stolen handbag with $7 inside over the tops of buildings. "In Bay City, when you step over the line, your nuts are mine."
This is the 6th outing for the Stiller/Wilson pairing and although they're tackling older material this time around, they manage to bring their own comedic talent and inject it into the old formula for the younger generation. Face it, if a joke can be made, it's made, and since these were the seventies, there's plenty of laughs to be had - haircuts, moustaches, sideburns and the totally dreadful wardrobe.

You will control Starsky & Hutch over three seasons. At the end of each episode you're given a viewer rating. As you go through each episode the viewer rating will drop gradually, your aim is to keep it high throughout the seasons.
It's far from easy to keep the viewer rating high due to the fact that the car is so difficult to control and running down civilians will cause your viewer rating to drop. The use of the rating system also fails to help you immerse yourself in the game, it's far too fake. The game would have been better without this element, instead putting you in the shoes of Starsky & Hutch as if they were real people.
The graphics are lacking as is the sound. The gameplay is awfully poor, the storyline is non existent leaving the whole thing feeling rather pointless. You're certainly not going to want to play this ...
