Great holiday at the Sol Trinidad

Advantages: Location, location, location
Disadvantages: Noisy for some guests

We went on holiday to Majorca for 10 days in July and stayed at the Sol Trinidad hotel in Magaluf. We have been to Magaluf in the past and stayed at a Sol hotel which we really liked and so decided to give this one a go. We booked it off teletext and stayed half-board. Trinidad - a Cuban treasure

Advantages: Culture, cuisine and charm
Disadvantages: Hard to leave

We were hungry, tired and somewhat taken aback by all the hustle and bustle going on around us. Pedro seemed to know everyone in Trinidad and shook hands with the men he met and pointed out things of interest along the short walk up the hill to the house he shares with his wife, Carmen. Trinidad has few big tourist hotels, the few there are in the area are mainly situated on the beach a few miles away at Playa Ancon and so locals have been given more or less free reign in letting out their spare rooms. The quality varies from ...

A romantic whodunnit from Nora Roberts

Advantages: An absorbing read
Disadvantages: A little predictable

ANGELS FALL NORA ROBERTS In this book - "Angels Fall" - Nora Roberts mixes mystery and romance. This book, published in 2006, contains three main subplots in the story -- a murder mystery, Reece's romance with Brody, and Reece's struggle to gain back normality.
