Advantages: Gritty and moving. Disadvantages: Slow.
Kokoda: 39th Battalion
When I saw this reviewed by Tayloa22, who writes excellent film reviews I thought I would give it a go, especially as my wife was out for a meal with her mates and I fancied a war film (that doesn't happen often).
The film is 92 minutes long (though it seesm a lot longer) and is rated 15.
The director is a guy called Alister Grierson and it is by all accounts his first full length feature, it is clearly Australian made, for an Australian audience.
I am not going to give you a cast list as no one in it is anyone any of you will have heard of, and are unlikely to see in any big budget films.
~~~The Plot~~~
The plot is based on true events. A reserve battalion of Australian troops, nicknamed the 'chocco's' (as it was thought they would melt in war) are sent to guard a supply trail in Paupua New Guinea ...
Yes my grandson is spoilt; to go with his other playmobil toys we bought him the Dragon troops.
The dragons troops are a knight and his horse and 3 foot soldiers. You can tell they are the dragon troops because they all wear the dragon colours red and yellow, the soldiers all wear chain mail and wear helmets. There are 3 shields for them too the shields have painted on them ,a dragons head breathing fire, There is a pennant , a flag for them to carry too this has the same dragon head emblem o it .. The horse that the dragon knight can sit on has a red blanket (not sure what the proper name for this is.) with the dragon heads on too. There is a yellow saddle on the horse too. 4 Weapons are supplied for these troops' crossbow sword daggers.
These troops look fearsome ready for battle to fight against -or for the dragon alongside ...
Advantages: Comes apart, allowing you to take main section away with you, in car or travel.. Disadvantages: wheels do move fast, if baby is not great with balance yet can easily fall.
This was bought as a gift for my son at 1 years, he loved it, sound is very clear, great as he was able to hold on and move easily.. even better you can detach main section, which allowed me to take just that part to friends houses, giving him hours of fun! This product is great for stimulating, flashing colours, the sounds is very clear and encourages child to copy noises. My son had a few tumbles, but as time went on really did help him with first steps. Also great for teaching them musical sounds as they have the keys to press, and large enough for them to already identify colours and animals. The keys can be used for alaphabet, numbers and even animal noises. This is a great product that parents can use with their child.. An all round good buy! ...
