His Texas-via-Bakersfield honky-tonk shuffles, swaggers, and steams down the highway on this surging collection of 14 original driving songs. Once you get past the obvious comparisons to Buck Owens and especially Merle Haggard (in both timbre and phrasing), you realize that Watson's resonant, fat baritone and his fluid Telecaster twang stand on their own considerable merits. Sure, "Big Wheels Keep Rollin'" may owe a debt to Hag's "White Line Fever" and "Exit 109" may remind one of Johnny Bond's "Hot Rod Lincoln," but these are compliments of a high order, not dismissive remarks. Songs such as the ode to coffee "Help Me Joe," the slow-churning "Drag Along & Tag Along," and the breakneck "I'm Fixin' to Have Me a Breakdown" show a deep absorption of the hardcore Bakersfield honky-tonk style. Much of the credit goes to pedal steel man Ricky Davis and the rock-solid but subtly sophisticated rhythm section of Preston Rumbaugh and Brian Ferriby. --Marc Greilsamer

Advantages: Tense, Atmospheric Thriller Disadvantages: Hardly upbeat! (Is a positive for some!)
...Now i'll turn my hand to a little video nasty! Hardly but a little more of a creepy one than I usually review.
So what's it all about?

'Session 9' is a film made in 2001 and is directed by Brad Anderson (The machinist).
The film is a psychological thriller set around Danvers State Mental Hopsital and is focussed on a team of asbestos removal specialists who are somewhat obstructed in the path of completing their work by a few odd occurances in the old Hospital.

A subplot to the group dynamic is that Phil...

This track shows what type of band they are from the first few seconds. It has a metal rhythm to it along with a type of beat that you just want to headband to (I had to resist other wise my glasses would of come flying off and broke). The lyrics are amazing I had researched what they were because you can't really hear the vocals over the beat. But as soon as I read them I could understand them when I played the track.
To be loved? 4/5

This Track is the best on this album by far? the vocals are amazing. It's one that you have to hum along...

Advantages: Brilliant golfer, gentleman and a true friend. Disadvantages: None
...I know that golf is not everyone's cup of tea, and that they aren't bothered about how many tournaments a certain player has won (or how much money !). What is the old saying ? Golf is a good walk spoiled !
It's true that Tom Watson has won many tournaments. However, there is so much more to this man than being a great golf player. He is a gentleman and a gentle man. I cannot recall a single time when I have seen him argue, shout or show any anger whatsoever. Indeed, he seems to have an almost permanent smile on his face whenever he plays. Perhaps, it is because he realises how fortunate he is to have such a wonderful talent for what he does, and to have been well paid for it over the years. He knows that any other behaviour would be disrespectful to the spectators who pay to see him.
As well as being a fantastic golf player...
