Advantages: Top quality hip hop, full of flair and skill, Disadvantages: Some weaker tracks, adult language
...the track. The drums are subtle and the verses are stylish and on-beat. The best so far. The track should appeal to alot of people... easy on the ear, you shouldn't find any headaches here, unless you turn the volume to 11, I suppose. I like it a lot. Again Jay-Z insists on droppin a few curses so if it's a problem then you shouldn't really listen to this album.
The album finsihes with an MC leading a crowd into calling Jay-Z back for an Encore, hence the title. he comes back to drop a final verse before the track is trickled out by a piano and the sound of heavy raindrops.
[Track 5 - Change Clothes]
A piano, a triangle or a cow bell and an elecetro synth beat keep this beat in the background and Jay-Z leads the show here although his verses flow well as usual, it is a little lacking in depth to be truthful. The chorus of 'Change Clothes...

Advantages: Great album, good production Disadvantages: few bad tracks
.../10
Track 3 - The Watcher 2 - Hip Hop fans may know this beat, as it was feature on Dr Dres 2001 album. This song does features Dr Dre, Truth Hurts and Rakim (A little Addictive reunion. This song was a little wired to me as I consider this a classic song but the verses by Jay are good and does well with a slowish beat. Dre and Rakims verses are good. Overall this is a good collaboration. 8/10
Track 4 - 03 Bonnie and Clyde - The first song released from this album featuring the lovely Beyonce. At the time there relationship was not public and this song fuelled rumours of a romance. This song is similar to Tupacs version but has a better beat in my opinion. This song was an obvious marketing ploy to give the album some much needed main stream coverage. A good song non the less a good collaboration. 7/10
Track 5 - Excuse Me miss...

...Before Jigga's crossover into the more commericial side of the rap industry, there was Reasonable Dout, released during the time when Jay was a street hustler and rap about what he knew and was undoubtably very good at it.
Often compared to the like of Nas' masterpiece Illmatic, Reasonable Doubt is considered Jay's best work up to date by amid hip hop fans and is great deserving source of his incredible legend.
Although when first released the album failed to create a mainstream buzz, but created a huge underground one, with Jay's slick rhymes deatiling his experiences on the streets are truthful and honest, with witty punchlines and remarks which make this a joy to listen to.
Some of the best songs on the album are proberly not well known, songs such as 'Dead Presidents II' (with samples a line from Nas' 'The world is yours...
