Advantages: Good for killing spare time Disadvantages: Scientifically flawed, weak film generally
Always keen to see a good movie, and always open to a new (or not so new) disaster film, when I saw that The Core was showing on one of the movie channels, and read the little description about it, I decided to put it on. Put simply, as the story is about the Core stopping spinning, I was curious as to how this could happen and ideas about what effects it would actually have should it ever happen.

At the centre of the earth, around the solid iron core, is a liquid, moving rapidly and keeping energy going that powers the electro-magnetic field around the earth, apparently. For some reason, not initially known in the film, there is a slow-down in the movement of this liquid - and so the core of the earth threatens to stop spinning. This would apparently cause the electro-magnetic field to go crazy then ...

If I ever see one sat on the shelf in Tesco, or on tap at the pub then I try it. Some of the time, this means I find a shitty horrible dry cider, like Savana Dry, most of the time, I find one that is passable, and not unpleasant. Occasionally however, I find something amazing, like Scrumpy.
So, when I saw that WKD were releasing their own Cider, known as WKD Apple Core cider, I thought it was my duty to try it. Knowing the ghastly sweetness of normal WKD, which is fine as a quick down, but not worth drinking normally, I did not expect anything amazing.
It took me quite a while to actually find the stuff to try, having told mum to grab me a bottle in Tesco, but today, I noticed it sat ...
Radio 1 and Virgin Radio rule the airwaves travelling across our beautiful country- GBritain.
However somewhere not too far behind catching the ripples off Virgin and R1 is a station called 'Core'.
Tuning into this can be major difficult especially has they never seem to advertise themselves by doing time checks and mentioning their name!
If you have Sky Digital you will find Core listed as one of the radio channels which you are able to constantly listen to.
One huge advantage of this station being scared of their station name and mentioning it, is the fact that its pretty much unheard of.
This helps you to enjoy yourself. By sending a txt message off your phone to this number: 079706 46566, you can choose what music they play.
Thats all their is too it. All you need to do is put in the name of the artist and the tune ...
