The feeling have made quite a large impact on the music scene in 2006 having a few good hits in the charts. They also left quite an impression on yours truly who is slightly disappointed by the quality of music available today.

It's nice to find an album which makes you feel good about life in general, but Twelve Stops and Home is such an album. It contains 12 tracks 4 of which have had good chart success so that is a good indication as to the standard of the tracks.

I WANT YOU NOW

This is quite an up tempo number and is quite catchy once you've heard it a few times. It is definitely not the strongest track on the album, but it is pleasant and gets the toes tapping.

NEVER BE LONELY

This track is just great, it is a slowish number to start with but with a very very nifty chorus it soon lifts you up even though the lyrical content is somewhat sad the overall feel is that of joy. I kinda got the impression he had lost a love but wasn't too bothered about it. This is the first track on the album which was a chart hit.

FILL MY LITTLE WORLD

Another up tempo number with starts of slowly and builds up. Yet again this is a catchy number which will have you joining in in no time at all. One of the strongest tracks.

KETTLE'S ON

Probably the weakest track on the entire album and one which although half decent doesn't match up to the quality of the other tracks. A bit to slow and boring for me.

SEWN

Second track that was a chart entry, slow and melodic with a bit of atmosphere this is one track I particularly like.

ANYONE

Another I'm not really keen on, but still half decent

STRANGE

The title pretty much somes this track up, it kind of stops and starts which I have not yet decided is good or bad, the jury is still out on this one.

LOVE IT WHEN YOU CALL

Back to the catchy quick and slickness at the beginning of the album. This one is there current chart entry and I think it might well be a big hit. Probably my favourite track and one I could listen too over and over again

The remaining tracks on the album Rose, Same old Stuff, Helicopter, and Blue Piccadilly are all of decent quality but for me the album just lacks that little edge with the exception of the charting titles it would be no more than a mediocre album, but uplifting even for its little faults.
