Advantages: Strong Acting, Good Story Disadvantages: None
When I first saw Twilight advertised I was interested in seeing it, but time went past and I never quite got around to it. It finally made it onto Sky Movies just as the follow up was being released, so I wasted no time in giving it a watch. Also, I have absolutely no experience with the books.
Twilight tells the story of a girl, Bella (Kristen Stewart) moving to live with her father for a short while. While there she becomes close to one of the less well known students at her school, Edward (Robert Pattinson). Of course he turns out to be a vampire, she isn't afraid, but should she be ?
Right from the start I could tell this wasn't really like other vampire movies. There's a lot less action than in other movies of the same kind, but this didn't ruin it at all. The story was interesting and I was never in the least bit bored ...

Advantages: A vampire film without the HORROR, Edward. . .the forbidden love again! Disadvantages: Not much special effects . . .Erm..COLD Bella!
Please note it's a film only review.
Have you seen the Twilight film? Have you even heard about the film? Read the novel maybe? If not . . . you have missed a lot!

My friends who saw it had mixed reactions . . . some of them (mostly girls) were very impressed, while others were not very happy and criticised the film harshly. I read many reviews (again, mostly very positive) so I was eager to see it and judge for myself. After nearly a year, the film was ?finally? scheduled to be on TV, so I wrote ...

Advantages: A great way to fall into a story that you will keep on loving, after the credits.. Disadvantages: The sequel can't come fast enough!
Hands up who here has never heard of Twilight? I would be surprised if anyone hadn?t heard of the film, some perhaps haven?t heard that it came from a novel, but still if you haven?t heard of it I would be incredibly shocked! It isn?t something that is in obscurity anymore, however when I originally read the books they were not perhaps the best known novels out there.. So when, as a Twilight fan I heard that Catherine Hardwicke wanted to get her hands on the book and turn it into a film, I was slightly sceptical about the outcome. Like most I was dubious because books turned into films sometimes, actually more often than not fall incredibly short of the mark in quality - especially if the actors for the characters are cast wrong..
So when this film came out last Christmas I had no intention of watching it in the cinema, I didn?t want ...
