.... Roger harmonises with the rest of the group. There are reminders of Pinball Wizard in the guitar accompaniment. The last refrain was written by Keith Moon.

...composer he has of late been somewhat out of the public sensibility with several low key scores for films such as "Bridget Jones' Diary", "Calendar Girls" and "Nouvelle-France" that are either more pop song oriented or obscure films. With Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Doyle has finally produced a score that harks back to those wonderfully huge orchestral efforts that he used to produce with such skill.
The score for Goblet of Fire is rooted in two different moods. One is the magical sense of its surroundings and people, which has this kind of flightly and dreamy quality that waltzes above everything with grace and, well… sense of magic. The other is the more dramatic thriller type music that creates much of the forboding sense of danger the story requires.
