I am a relative newcomer to the world of Before Sunrise and Before Sunset. Even though the first film, released in 1995, has built up a large cult following since it's release, I had to admit that until fairly recently, I was rather oblivious to it all. However, a number of people kept advising that I see it, and eventually I did, and was completely blown away. The simple tale of characters falling in love over the course of one night had so much more depth than I possibly could have imagined. Once I had seen the first, I was going to have to see the second, even though I have never encountered a sequel that managed to live up to the first film. Pre-visit
I had probably heard more bad things about Los Angeles than good so it was with some trepidation that we decided to spend the final three nights of our honeymoon in the city of angels. Furthermore, after having spent the rest of the trip being pampered and pandered to in some of the best five star hotels in the places we visited, this time we decided to try something a bit different. The Grafton on Sunset is certainly not down-market; in fact it is a boutique four-star hotel. However the other hotels we stayed in on honeymoon were elegant, sophisticated and definitely very grown up, whereas this one came across as being younger, funkier and situated in a location known for its nightlife, Sunset Boulevard. In the end we decided this could be just the ending to the trip that we wanted.

Escada Sunset Heat
I got this perfume in a Collector?s Edition pack of 5 Escada Perfumes; Island kiss, Rockin? Rio, Pacific Paradise, Sunset Heat and Ibiza Hippie.
I first heard of Escada when I bought Pacific Paradise on the Ferry on the way to Italy, from then on the smell always reminded me of that holiday, and became one of my favourite perfumes. So when I saw this pack for £12.50 for 5 small bottles (4ml each), I just had to buy them to try them all, so I could choose my favourite one!
And I must say they were all delicious! With such strong fruity smells which stuck around all day, my only problem was there wasn?t enough of it in the bottles, and I tended to use half a bottle each time I used it!
