Advantages: one of their best during their best period
Disadvantages: on 36 mintues long may be deemed as to short

...This is thin lizzys 8th studio album and is one of the string of excellent albums lizzy had during the 74-83 period where almost all of there best work took place. This album itself was released in 1977 the band at that time was as follows: Brian Downey -drums, percussion Scott Gorham -lead guitars, guitars Brian Robertson-lead guitar, voice box, keyboards Phil lynott -bass guitar, vocals, string machine, harp Lizzy would go member changes throughout the bands career and I believe they still play today although it never will be real thin lizzy without Phil lynott who died January 4th 1986 of what I think if I remember correctly was a heroin overdose. Advantages: Great live sound, superb twin guitar workouts, superb songs
Disadvantages: Not nearly long enough

...This album is without doubt my own personal favourite album of all time, also Thin Lizzy themselves are my all-time favourite band so being objective of it is extremely hard for me in this instance, so much so that I really do not know what to be objective about, some say that this isnt 100% live but it doesn't matter in the slightest because the album is all the better for it, in fact a top 50 best ever live albums list was done by classic rock magazine a couple of years back, and then in order to cause some kind of debate the same magazine asked the public what their favourite live album was and this album ended up topping both lists From the opening number of jailbreak through to the final last bars on the song the rocker, this album is truly something to be proud of from start to finish, the dual harmony lines between the two...
