I am going to review one of the older books as Judith Miller brings one of these books out every year. She also brings out an antiques price guide annually aswell the paticualar one I am using as reference is the 1997 to 1998 version.
Judith miller and her team go round different auction houses and photograph items that are worth a fair bit. A lot of these things are modern day collectables, starting from the later end of the 19th century up to present day. each page has photos of the items which include a price, ie valuers estimate, say as £25-£40
If you go to car boots or flea markets it would be a good idea to look through one of these books, and get an idea of whats worth something amd what's it not.

The GlennMiller Orchestra UK was founded by Ray McVay in the 80's . This was done after talks with the GlennMiller Estate, who had listened to many of Ray McVay's tracks.
Who is Ray McVay?
Ray McVay was born in the late 30's in Scotland. He became a professional musician at the tender age of 13 as a rocking sax player. In the 50's he became a music director for many big names such as Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, Conway Twitty and Billy Fury.
As Rays name got bigger and better known in the music industry, and fronted his own show band known as the Ray McVay Orchestra. He started to play for the Mecca Organization playing around the country before headlining at Mecca's big venue, the Lyceum Ballroom in London's west end.. This review is for the Nintendo DS game, Solitaire UltimateCollection, developed and published by Koch Media. The game consists of a wide range of different card games which you can play on your own.
There are 101 different solitaire games in this collection which are placed into various categories, so it will take you a while to work through them all. There are instructions from them all, so learning the games doesn't take too long, and tutorials are there if you need them. There are a few games however which are quite complex, so they do take a little while to understand.
As you play through each game, you're able to keep statistics on your performance, which does give you an incentive to keep playing a game to improve your average score. As you would expect though, some of the games are a lot easier to win at than others ...
