BOX OF DUB-Variousartists is a showcase of tracks taken from the new popular Dubstep-future garage genre. This record covers the dubbier side of the scene with names such as 'Skream, Digital mystiks, Scuba, etc) . The tracks are original, with some bordering on strange (Digital Mystikz 'Guilty' is an example). Overall the quality is very high and rather enjoyable. The record kicks off with Digital Mystikz 'I wait' which is a lovely stripped down Dubstep drum workout with minimal synths and subs. skream shines on this record and features on two tracks. The first is 'Sub Island', a detailed drum workout over minimal but heavy sub bass and an even more minimal pad sound which suggests the tropical island feel. A six CD box set which showcases a huge selection of tracks from the drum and bass scene.
Drum and bass has gained huge popularity over the years and has gained alot of followers thanks to its breaknecks speeds of drums, bass and sample ridden madness. These tracks show you what is all about and my gosh there is alot of them.
The tracks span right back to the early nineties and some can sound very dated but interesting nether the less. Producers which stand out on the album are the big heavy weights such as 'Dillinja' with his awesome track 'Grimey' with its huge pitch bending bass synth and the unforgettable vocal sample, this one will keep you going till the early hours. Then there is J-magik, with his equally powerful but more jazzy power rhythms.

for childrens' parties and such, but it's not the best for just listening to as a track! Another memorable track from the classic Disney film!
5) The Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Room
I have no idea what this track is from! It's very much a tribal song, quite 'boingy'! It's beat is quite steady, and I think I enjoyed it more than I expected to, given the weird and unpredictable title! If I were to make a guess, I'd say it originated from a Disney resort again, most likely an old song!

I've never really seen Toy Story properly, but I am quite familiar with this song! I think the majority of people are - it is often used in various other films and shows etc. It's so peaceful and emotional, but at the same time it is heart-wrenching! I've no idea how it fits in with the film though!
