A six CD box set which showcases a huge selection of tracks from the drum and bass scene. Drum and bass has gained huge popularity over the years and has gained alot of followers thanks to its breaknecks speeds of drums, bass and sample ridden madness. These tracks show you what is all about and my gosh there is alot of them. The tracks span right back to the early nineties and some can sound very dated but interesting nether the less. Producers which stand out on the album are the big heavy weights such as 'Dillinja' with his awesome track 'Grimey' with its huge pitch bending bass synth and the unforgettable vocal sample, this one will keep you going till the early hours. Then there is J-magik, with his equally powerful but more jazzy power rhythms. If your a fan of this hi speed music you will defenitely find this box set ...

Dj Hypes Drum 'n' Bass Arena

Advantages: good music,various artists, good value for money, enjoyable
Disadvantages: not for absolutely everyone

I have had Dj Hypes drum and bass arena album since around christmas last year, and i am still not bored of it. It has a lot of different artists on it, with a range of different types of drum and bass. I love to listen to this album when driving, tidying the house, or just doing nothing. it is a really good back round album when i have friends round too, as everyone enjoys the music it has on it. I also love to dance to the songs on this album, but i do not let many people see me doing that !!! I would really reccomend this album to anyone, it could suit many peoples music taste. It is also pretty good value for money, seeing as there are so many artists on it. ...

Pure Drum+Bass the collection, the best Ive heard

Advantages: A pack with good songs throughout, and at an almost comical price
Disadvantages: Big drum’n’bass packs have a reputation of being big boxes of crud

or found it on *ahem* Napster I would be pleased. This makes the four cd’s great to just put on the stereo and listen to, you get around 5 hours of decent song after decent song. I value this ‘commercial’ collection alongside the far more respected mix albums by artists such as Hype. That means a lot I think. And to think, at the price I got this in HMV, it works out at £2 a cd, 20p for each song, you can’t exactly go far wrong can you! (well yes, most other packs will make you think flushing coins down the toilet is more worthy) If you like drum'n'bass proper, if you like the less hardcore, more mainstream stuff like Roni Size, or if you like normal dance music and want to hear something a bit different, I would definitely recommend this drum’n’bass collection as a great source of good songs to get ...
