...The band was originally formed by childhood friends guitarist Dominic Cifarelli and bassist Jeff Feldman, who after some changes to the band's line-up after a short break-up in 1997 brought on drummer Maxx Zinno and vocalist Vizza. unfortunately i read a couple of months ago on the band's website that Vizza had departed the band due to musical differences. this is a shame because i rather enjoyed his vocal styles on this album and to this day im not sure what the story is concerning a lead singer. anyway. i first heard Pulse ultra a couple of years ago supporting Taproot. i was blown away by this act as usually i find the support acts for small gigs rather unentertaining. the album consists of 14 tracks of pure musical delight in my opinion. ...I was lucky enough to get my mits on a special edition. The album was phenomenal, the songs are great. Rock fans around the world will buy this. I myself have all the other dragonforce albums and it is so much better than the others. Not many people believe rock music is music, but aDragonforce is a band where anyone will enjoy the music. They have a great band, thousands of fans. Including me. I love the dragonforce songs because it is the music i get on with, i hate hip hop music as it just gives me a headache. Advantages: This is THE best DJ mix album I have ever heard
Disadvantages: If you dont like dance music you wont like it

Imagine if Peel had mixed techno with African tribal drumming, then those drums with those of Dave Brubeck or Buddy Rich…imagine then the next tune being Steve Reich, or Roni Size, and the next Dave Clarke and then some Brazillian Bossa Nova. Like Peel's selections, these Coldcut "Solid Steel" radio shows went all over the place. The difference was the Coldcut boys were using four turntables, samplers, computers and other tools to weave all of these very different musical strands together. I have even heard them take the bass from one tune and combine it with the vocals from another, then take the drums from a third and a melody from a fourth.
