Undiscovered (*6).. The next UK release from the album.. He talks about not being lost, just undiscovered. Another good track that will no doubt rate high in the charts. This song has only 2 guitars in it hence the accoustic feel.
Letter (*7). One of the tracks that is not quite to my taste. Although its a good track its just not my kind. Still its easy to listen to and a catchy tune.. My overall rating of this ... ...a dissaster
Call The Police (*8) is a nice easy tune. One of the tracks that you tend to forget about when telling someone about the album, but doesn't mean its no good.
This Boy (*9) is a sad song, i think its about someone who's been left all alone and needs someone to be with.. Its a very good song and sticks in your head for hours and hours after listening to it... Another one of the good songs of the album.

When i bought this album for a friend I didn't think much of it, but Ive found that this album definately grows on you.. Its an easy album to listen to and has an accoustic feel to it.. In a way it reminds me of Daniel Beddingfieds' last album but without the synth sounds.. Under the Influence (*1) is a good opening track, upbeat and a catchy tune.
You Give me Something (*2) is one of the tracks that was recently released in the UK charts, and I believe it went to number 1. A song about falling in love i think. A good song that will have you humming the song to yourself at times..
Wonderfull World (*3) Is another that reached the top 2 in the UK charts. Very accoustic and a happy, upbeat feel to it.. Definately one that will stand out in the album.
Pieces Dont Fit Anymore (*4) Is the track that is currently in the UK charts (17/02/07). It also seems to be rising in the charts very quickly so must mean that a lot of people like it. A sad song but at the same time uplifting.. I think this song is about a relationship breakdown he might of experienced. This is one of my favourite tracks on this album and i would definately recommend the album to a friend just because of this song.
One Last Chance (*5) is very bass'y.. A song about his troubles and that he has one more chance to get his life together.. Its a very poignant song and is another i find myself humming to when im trying to get to sleep at night.. ( verry annoying.. lol )
My overall rating of this song would be around the 6 mark so not tottaly a dissaster
If The Rain Must Fall (*10). Another catchy tune which shows James' vocal range. Another good song that you can sit and relax to.
How Come (*11). One of my least favourites of the album.. Again im not saying that its no good, just not my usuall kind.. Quite an upbeat song but nothing to write home for..
Last Goodbye (*12). Another quite sad song thats easy to listen to. A good sound to it and catchy tune. After ive had an album for a few months i tend to skip some tracks and listen to my favourites, and this track is one I stop on to listen to..
Better Man (*13). My favourite.. This track has only one accoustic guitar in it. A very catchy tune and sticks in your head for hours on end.. A kind of love song but upbeat.. This song is definately my favourite and I could never get sick of hearing it..
Overall this album is very good.. One that will be in my CD rack for years to come. A sad album which will grab you and leave you wanting more. I would definately reccomend it to a friend and anyone who asks.. Out of all the albums ive got this one is definately in my top 10..
Advantages: Amazing voice, great songs, so relaxing Disadvantages: none at all
...his life together.
6.: Undiscovered - This has just been released last week and is proving to be a great success climbing up the charts, one of the most upbeat on the album and is my 2nd favourite, the chorus says, 'am not lost, just undiscovered' which i think is a great line.
7.: Letter - This is about a letter which he doesnt want to open because he has an idea of what it is already about, great upbeat song.
8.: Call The Police - Not my favourite ... ...This Boy - What a great song, its quite a sad song lyrically but quite upbeat, about a boy is scared of his emotions and has ahd a bad past. Love this song.
10.: If The Rain Must Fall - A song saying that all he needs a specific girls love. good song, not great but still very good.
11.: How Come - Just asks questions to his girlfriend because the 'situation is spinning him round', he doesnt know where the relationship is leading.
12.: Last Goodbye ...

Advantages: An overall good album that can be listened to over and over again Disadvantages: Songs are rather similar
This is one of those albums you can play over and over again and is great to listen to in the background.
All songs are quite lively and i found this is an album that grows on you. The downside of this album is that there is a large similarity between different songs and each song is like the last. But due to the great quality of James Morrisons voice and the catchy music following, this is an album I would definitely recommend.
It is quite old ... ...of the internet for a very reasonable price. I bought this album when it was first out as a received it as a birthday present and have been listening to it non-stop and I'm still not bored. My friends all agree even though my friends and I are fans of different genres of music.
So no matter what type of music you like, I would recommend this album highly and at a low price of around 8 pound, it is a ideal buy! ...

Advantages: He appeals to all ages. Disadvantages: The songs are really similar.
JamesMorrison's album Undiscovered is my favourite album at the moment by far. Love every song on it! All my friends love his music too and it appeals to all ages. The songs are all quite similar but his voice makes up for it. He's been described as the new James Blunt which I think is rubbish as his voice is nothing like James Blunt. Which for me is a good thing. He has an amazing voice and each of the songs on his album are really great. I think the reason I like JamesMorrison is because he's different from every other artist out there. He has a really original and unique sound and the Undiscovered album proves it. Hope I helped you out a bit. =D ...
Advantages: soulful music, tells it like it is, a mix of emotions included Disadvantages: there are none!
I first heard jamesMorrison on the Jools Holland Show where he played 'You Give Me Something' and a number of other songs.
When I checked him out on the internet and listened to his other songs I made a link between him and Stevie Wonder. Their songs are not at all of the same genre or about the same things, but something in the jazz band and the throaty voice of Morrison reminded me of Stevie.
Anyway, I bought the CD, and on listening to all the tracks for the first time I realised how many subjects to do with love, had been covered. 'Call the Police' is about a man who is so angry he wants to hurt his girlfriend. 'The Letter' is about a girlfriend who wrote to tell him she had been cheating and wanted to break it off.
You can't really get the feel of the songs unless you listen, but the way they are sung is so thought ...
Advantages: James has a pleasant voice Disadvantages: Most of the songs are dull
The mid-naughties saw a rise in popularity of that previous staple of the late 1960's, the earnest singer songwriter. Normally the preserve of a select circle of enthusiasts, the genre found itself thrust into the spotlight as record companies needed to plug a gap in the market vacated by the "name" acts like U2 and Radiohead who were taking extended hiata from releasing new product. Suddenly we were presented with a whole plethora of singers - Blunt, Nutini, Allen and the devils reincarnate brother and sister Bedingfields to name but five - and also James "don't call me Jim" Morrison.
Born 10/07/84 in Rugby, Warwicks., Morrison shares a name with the famous frontman of the Doors, LA's premier late 60's act. There endeth the similarities. Morrison's, James' that is, debut offering "Undiscovered" which put him ...

Album Notes
By the time James Morrison's debut, UNDISCOVERED, was released in the United States in 2007, the singer-songwriter was already a hot commodity in his native England. Morrison's sound lives somewhere between the classic soul of Al Green and Stevie Wonder, and more folk-oriented artists like James Taylor (not to mention contemporaries like James Blunt and John Mayer). As a result, UNDISCOVERED has a definite retro feel, yet it still manages to sound contemporary in its approach and production. A mere 21 years old at the time of this album's release, Morrison proves here that he's an artist to keep an eye on as he develops and matures.
