...I remeber when i first saw caliban i was going to the hatebreed gig in leeds and caliban was supporting them. I heard of caliban before when they realised the beloved and the hatred song. This was the only song i had heard by them even tho i thought it was a great song i wasnt really looking forward to seeing them since i was only there for hatebreed.
They put on a good show and there songs were pretty good.
Recently i decided to purchase the album and to my surprise it was really really good! I cant stop listening to it. I love the song goodbye , diary of an addict.. no wait i love them all =)

Advantages: Contempary Rock at it's best Disadvantages: Maybe a little commmercial
...In 1991 when "Nevermind" was released no one could have possibly foretold just how massive it was to become. From the cover photo, spitting into the face of every capitalist American, to the superb diversity of the cultured rock contained, this was and is an album to change the world.

Smells Like Teen Spirit
Beginning the album, as you no doubt already know is the undying classic "Smells Like Teen Spirit". The dark background and soul poured into Kurt's music rest's firmly in this song, the closing melody from his gigs purely for the reason that if he was on his last guitar it couldn't survive Teen Spirit. This loud song of that unending formula of a quiet chorus and intense bridge sets the mood perfectly for the album, getting the head-rush going, ready to ebb and flow throughout...

Advantages: A classic album Disadvantages: A couple of weak links
...be described as out of this world. The song proclaims undying love and the feelings of being with someone who you are truly in love with. This track is just Christine and a piano in which her voice raises every time the chorus is sung.

“The Chain” was written by all the members of the band and has become a theme tune for Formula 1 on BBC television. The track is quite “dark” to begin with, which matches the lyrics perfectly, as they are threatening in a way. The song begins with a drum and a guitar, which increase in sound. After the first verse the singing gets more frenetic and the drums are played louder and faster. After the chorus, the song slows down again before the second verse. The wonderful piece of music at the end of the song starts...
