Advantages: Neo-classical architecture and wonderful entertainment. Disadvantages: Steps leading to entrance
One of the main items on our list of things to do and see whilst visiting Prague last month was to watch a performance of the Prague StateOpera. As is usually my way, I researched what was on and how much the tickets were way prior to our visit. Prague StateOpera has a comprehensive and easy-to-navigate website http://www.opera.cz. So having discovered what was playing whilst we were to be there, it was a decision as to whether to book online or try for tickets at the time. After Vienna and finding that we could pick up tickets from the touts for a small percentage of the cost online, I was tempted to wait. However, several articles stated that there had been a number of fraudulent tickets sold by touts resulting in several tourists? disappointment and so I bought online.

U2 are a band I have liked for many years since New Years Day first appeared in the singles chart in the early 80's, although the band actually formed back in 1976!
The Band :-
Bono - vocals
Larry Mullen Jnr - Drums
Adam Clayton - Bass
The Edge - Guitar & vocals

Moving away from Steve Lillywhite, the album was produced by Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois.
The album saw a slight change in direction for the band ...
Advantages: Large rooms, clean, with firendly staff. Disadvantages: 10 minute walk to shops and cathedral
The Hilton Vienna Plaza is an excellent hotel located on the Ringstrasse in Central Vienna, I will talk more about the hotels location later on. Before I arrived at the hotel I emailed the manager with a few questions about the local area and the hotel etc. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and I received an email back with all of my questions answered which was helpful. It took around twenty minutes to get to the hotel from the Airport, although on my way back to the airport at the end of my stay it took about thirty minutes because of heavier traffic.
Check-in was fast and very efficient, the hotel staff were friendly and gave me a map of the local area. I booked to stay in a standard king room, the rooms at the hotel are a very nice size. The bed was very comfortable and there was a chaise longue, desk, television, safe, tea ...
