Advantages: guitar Disadvantages: none
...This is a good and cheap selection of some of the greatest blues musicians ever. The collection opens predictably with a muddywaters track (rollin’ stone) although probably not his best and then there appears the great elmore james performance on slide guitar in ‘dust my broom’ – a fantastically modern style of blues for the time. The j l hooker song is not ‘boom, boom’ thank god and the howlin’ wolf track ‘smokestack lightning’ features as track 9, this is a great song and I think once a budweiser advert song. There is a beautifully rough recording of memphis slim’s ‘guess I’m a fool’ towards the end which is for me the pick of the tracks. This is a solid album, nothing too new, but touches all the bases and is successful....

Advantages: It will bring you back to the old hard days of the American music Disadvantages: You can't steal it just for love!
...Bob Dylan's LOVE AND THEFT is one of the finest rock works of the last years, at least since TIME OUT OF MIND, from the same artist.

Best live album Review ofFrom The Muddy Banks Of The Wishkah - Nirvana (US)by
floydthebarber
Advantages: Live and different from the studio recordings Disadvantages: None
...The Muddy Banks of the Wishkah is undesputadely the best collection of Nirvana songs available. With classics like Smells Like Teen Spirit and About a Girl this is a must for every Nirvana fans collection. Most songs are without extra dubbing which gives an extra sense of enjoyment and illustrates what Nirvana were best at. Smells Like Teen Spirit is noticeably faster and Polly is alot more Metally than on the Nevermind album. The only problem with this album is that it makes you annoyed that you can never see Nirvana live. This CD is one that treasures the memory of the music era of Nirvana, which changed the music world lyrically and influenced millions of artists. It is the heavier of the two live Nirvana albums and is a legend in itself....
