Advantages: Lots of bangers Disadvantages: One weak track
R. Kelly released his ?Untitled?ninth album in 2009. It finds that the R&B veteran (who made his breakthrough in 1991 as the lead singer of Public Announcement). Here he makes his comeback after a relatively short time out dealing with personal issues and getting back to form as he moves on from his 2007 release ?Double Up?.
1.?Crazy Night?
The album kicks off with a straight banger of a track and one that you simply won't be able to ignore if you are down with the trends of R&B through 2008 and 2009. It finds him working with Rock City, one of whom come out with a heavy Dancehall toast over the thing to link in with Kells' choice to do it all with a Caribbean accent as he sings and half-raps to what can be called his version of Ron Browz' ?Pop Champagne?.

Advantages: Great for getting in an early night Disadvantages: Keep the Thesaurus beside you at all times
Untitled 2009
The next time I find a skip full to the rim with used tampons I'll send it to Saatchi titled: 'skip, I'm not up the duff'; done all graffiti like across the side of the peeling yellow skip. I'll get 20,000 GBP for my efforts and a nice mention in all the art journals claiming I'm beyond genius and require a team of thirty art people to get all my future concepts in all of the major exhibitions in Basingstoke. Advantages: a nice change Disadvantages: some poor tracks
. this has some nice atmospheric textures. the guitars and drumming in this track make the song, especially the nice double bass drumming in the bridge. Sweet!
Art of Cope
one guitar on the melody and the other laying down some nice riff. interesting vocals on this track. once again a nice bridge, good vocals.
Purity 1.
a tribal like drum intro with chanting and spoken poetry. when the track kicks in there is some deep roaring and screaming but in contrast to that the band keep the music quite tamed.
Freedom.
Nice guitar and drum intro here. another favourite for me. half of the song you could class as the outro. quite a nice slow riff.
Symapathetic clymate control.
The power ballad! nice slow quiet verse into a slow but powerful chorus. not one of the best on the record.
untitled.
a complete contrast to the previous track ...
