Advantages: Excently laid out store Disadvantages: spending too much money
I have been shopping at dorothy Perkins for some years now and I have nearly always found the staff very polite and helpfull and I find the clothes quality very good and I have pieces in my wardrobe that have been there for some years that are still in fab condition.
However I am not reviewing the shop as such I wanted to review the service i had there the other day. I went into my local dorothy perkins in Cardiff city centre which is a fairly new store and the layout is fantastic there are 3 floors. Basement floor is Shoes, middle floor is accessories and then the top floor is clothes.
Entering the store
When you walk into the store you enter ont he middle floor which is accessories the displays are fantastic and all accessories are grouped in colours so you will find all the gold bags, belts, purses ect in one section ...
Advantages: Good selection, offer discounts for students. Disadvantages: Some items can be pricey
I have to say that Dorothy Perkins is fast becoming one of my favourite shops to buy clothes, for any occasion. I can always find what I am looking for and the good thing is that because it is so popular nowadays, there is nearly always a branch on my door step.
There is also a website where you can buy items online. Although I tend not to do this as there is a £3.95 delivery charge and you have to pay to return your items if they are the wrong size, so I stick to buying in-store. But the website comes in handy to have a look for items you like, then go into the shop and buy them!
THE CLOTHES
Now I'm not saying that the clothes in DP will suit everybody's style, but I would say that it covers a large age range, probably starting from age 14, although they don't do children's sizes.

and creates a small but perfectly formed head. The head however always fails to last and just vanishes into the beer which I don't really like. The beer is fizzy and you can see the bubbles rising up the glass.
The taste, which after all is the most important bit, is where I am disappointed. I always remembered Carling to be not too bad, a bit fizzy but OK. However either the beer has changed or my taste buds. The beer has a watery taste which is very weak and has very little in the way of flavour. The taste vanishes from your mouth as soon as you shallow and you are left wondering whether you have just sipped from a pint glass or the washing up bowl. The flavour is not robust and only bloats you as the beer is so fizzy. I was hoping with all that barley there would be some lovely warm subtle flavours poking through, but no nothing.
