Advantages: Easy To Understand The Plot, Good Storyline!
Disadvantages: Could Have Been Longer!

...I first heard of this story in an English lesson at school. The teacher read a few chapters of it in lesson and I started to gain interest. I asked her the name of the author and set off to the school library the next day to find it. As soon as I found it I took it out and home to read. *About Benjamin Zephaniah* Benjamin Zephaniah has quite an interesting life and I will briefly explain it now. His full name is Benjamin Obadiah Iqbal Zephaniah, which is Christian, Jewish and Muslim. He was born in the district of Handsworth in Birmingham. (Which is kind of close to me!) He is a poet as well as a storywriter. Many of his poems and stories have a serious message and they cover topics like: racism, animal rights, pollution and equality between boys and girls. Advantages: Tells us about prejudice and discrimination
Disadvantages: nothing

...'t a ride home, it's a ride to self-destruction. In the inevitable accident Martin suffers terrible burns to his face. Can you imagine waking up in a hospital, and not even knowing for sure whether you have still got all your limbs? As Martin slowly comes to consciousness he checks, one by one. Everything seems to be pretty well OK. His face is the last thing he bothers to think about. He can't really feel the damage, you see, because of the painkillers. Martin has to learn to deal with all the different reactions of ordinary people to his terrible injuries. It's all a bit different being on the receiving end of other people's prejudices, about disabilities, or race, or anything else. Benjamin Zephaniah is a black poet and writer himself, so perhaps he has made Martin white so that the message about prejudice can be well learnt. Written... Read review

Advantages: extracts moisture from air, really quiet, holds 10l of water, can be plumbed in

...Before getting new windows fitted we suffered from massive amounts of condensation in our home, so much so that damp had actually appeared in the corners of the room where water had run down the wall. Frankly after paying so much for a home I didn't fancy decorating for it all to be ruined while we waited to save up for the windows. My dad suggested a dehumidifer and we bought this one for £85 as it is small enough to sit in the corner of any room without dominating the eyeline. While it might me small and inobtrusive it weighs a ton even when the drum is empty. There is some seriously heavy motor packed within the engine room of this beast so trying to move it when the 10 litre drum is full is near on impossible.
