Valley Of Fire - Jackie-O Motherfucker

Advantages: Great, hilarious lyrics
Disadvantages: Too many bad songs

...I bought this album after I'd heard "Hooray For Boobies", and frankly, I didn't expect much, because it seemed as though the band had only just got their act together. This record was produced by Jimmy Pop Ali, and as expected, there is some particularly bad production here. That's not really a bad thing, though. The styles vary quite a lot, with electro-funk / disco tracks interfused with hip-hop vocals, and indie metal guitar riffs. The first four tracks are all potential classics. "Kiss Me Where It Smells Funny" is a fast, rockin' tune with funky turntable scratching, "Lift Your Head Up High And Blow Your Brains Out" is a cool song with a disco beat (is there such a thing...?). "Fire Water Burn" is an excellent metal track with the lyrics "The roof is on fire / we don't need no water let the motherfuckers burn / Burn motherfuckers... Read review
